Dan Blum
Manager
Dan has spent the past 25 years in the finance field, ranging from commercial real estate to private equity and hedge funds, and has over 15 years of experience researching systematic investment strategies. The Programs offered by Evan Capital are the culmination of many years of collaborative research in pursuit of a long-term overall asset allocation approach that has the ability to perform well in a variety of different investment climates.

Dan has spent the past 18 years in the finance field ranging from commercial real estate to private equity and hedge funds. He formed Evan Capital LLC in June of 2015 and registered in March of 2016 as an Investment Adviser with the Texas State Securities Board. He holds a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Dan is a native Houstonian who grew up in the Rice University area. He is active in the community and an avid supporter of the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Mike Mann, MD
Manager
Mike joined Evan Capital in 2017 and registered as an Investment Advisor Representative with the Texas State Securities Board in June 2017. Mike is an emergency physician and has over 8 years of finance experience. As a physician, he understands the unique financial challenges and opportunities physicians may encounter.
Mike is originally from Abilene, Texas, and now lives in Houston with his family, where he is involved in the local community. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
